Our Mother's Arms

A Weekend of Embodied Earth Devotion with Ritual, Movement & Sacred Remembrance

April 17–19 | Leavenworth, WA at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort

There is a place where you are already whole, where you can slow down enough to feel what is true and allow your spirit to gently return to itself through reverence, attention, and care. Our Mother’s Arms is a space created in that spirit: a grounded, intentional pause where participants are nourished by the Mother and invited to meet her with quiet devotion.

In a time when many are moving through life at a relentless pace, this retreat offers a conscious return to what truly sustains us. It centers the grounding presence of the Earth as a steady source of support, wisdom, and nourishment, guiding participants back into alignment with their body, spirit, and natural rhythm.

Through intentional gathering, movement, and care, participants are given the space to reconnect with their foundation, leaving more resourced, more steady, and more connected.

Journey with Our Earth-Aligned Guides

Our Mother’s Arms is co-created by a council of devoted practitioners rooted in movement, breath, ritual, and hands-on healing.

Together, we hold the container with care, reverence, and integrity.

Aimee Huffman

Aimee Huffman is a yoga therapist, health coach, and former Division 1 athlete who helps people slow down, reconnect to their bodies, and find steadiness in the midst of full lives. Her work weaves together mindfulness, nervous system support, and a deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom. She creates spaces where driven, high capacity individuals can soften, restore, and return to themselves.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Aimee now lives in Leavenworth, Washington, where she runs a private wellness practice and owns Alpine Hot Yoga. She draws daily inspiration from the forests, rivers, and wide open skies of the Pacific Northwest.

Rae Helsel, E-RYT 500

For over 15 years, Rae has immersed herself in the restorative arts of yoga, specializing in the nuanced realms of mindful restorative yin. In her classes and training sessions, she seamlessly integrates a profound understanding of nervous system regulation, medical qi gong, and neuroscience.

Rae’s journey into the world of yoga and meditation unfolded against the backdrop of a cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery and treatments during her college years. It was in this life challenge that she discovered the profound healing capacities within this practice. From this threshold experience, Rae has cultivated a unique approach, one that not only heals but also restores and empowers the intricate tapestry of the mind, body, and spirit (The Rest Movement).

She teaches from a place of deep study, having trained under international luminaries such as Judith Lasater, Jillian Pransky, Bernie Clark, Sarah Powers, Rod Stryker, Tara Brach, and Mimi Kuo Deemer. Her mission is to bring relaxation to an over-worked, burnt-out, and under-rested culture.

Klarity

Klarity’s path has been one of remembering — learning, unlearning, and returning home to herself again and again. Since beginning her studies in Biodynamic Craniosacral in 2016, she has devoted herself to listening to the subtle rhythms of the nervous system and energy body. She offers gentle, attuned spaces where people can soften, regulate, and reconnect in a world that often pulls us away from our center.

Alongside her healing work, Klarity is a DJ and facilitator of Ecstatic Dance. She sees dance as medicine. a space where the body leads and movement arises from within. Through movement and dance, stored energy can be expressed and released. Her ceremonial journeys create grounded, heart-centered spaces where all is welcome, inviting each person to let their body guide the way home.

Brittany Thurow

Brittany Thurlow is a student of nature, the elements, the ceremonial arts, and Earth-honoring ways. Guided by a deep reverence for life and an appreciation for healing wisdom traditions and contemplative studies, her path has been shaped by teachings from diverse cultures, traditions, philosophies, and theologies.

For the past five years, Brittany has immersed herself in the study of water, traveling internationally to learn from leading researchers and exploring both its scientific properties and subtle, energetic nature. This learning has deeply informed her heart and her work, as she believes that water is not only essential to all of life, but also an ancient teacher—one that graciously shows us how to live in greater harmony, wisdom, generosity, and remembrance of our true nature. Through her course, “Reflections with Water,” she will share teachings about water and present the opportunity to embody these teachings through meditative practices.

Through her offerings, Brittany weaves together science and spirituality, embodied practice, nature-based facilitation, and relational connection with the Earth.

Her current devotions are expressed through her work and service at The Plant Ally, Vorterra, Wildly Beloved, The Well, and The World Water Community

Megan Wyld

Megan Wyld is a Wenatchee native who spent over 16 years traveling, studying, and immersing herself in spiritual and healing traditions that emphasize embodiment, awareness, and direct revelation. Her path included working with sound, ceremony, shamanic journeying, breath, and plant and stone medicines—practices that invite deep listening rather than instruction, and inner authority rather than external guidance.

Now rooted back in her hometown, Megan shares the modalities that have supported her own growth and integration. Her work is not about fixing, analyzing, or processing stories. Instead, it creates a layered, sensory-rich environment that allows the nervous system to reorganize, perception to open, and the body’s innate intelligence to lead.

Megan’s Sound Journeys are held as a ceremonial container—responsive rather than repetitive, dynamic rather than static—designed for those who are comfortable being with their own internal experience and allowing transformation to arise organically.

The spaces she creates are especially supportive for individuals who are grounded, self-aware, and curious about meeting themselves beyond words, analysis, or performance—through direct sensation, resonance, and presence.

Ben

Benjamin Jay Thomas is a singer-songwriter, producer, and the founder of Bring Forth- a nonprofit creative community rooted in the belief that song is medicine, prayer, and practice. His work lives at the intersection of music, spirituality, and healing, and he has spent years designing sacred creative containers where people are invited to listen deeply, express honestly, and receive fully.

In this guided restorative concert, participants will be held in a sonic ceremony designed for deep listening, release, and return. Through live looping, voice, and original songs, Benjamin will weave a musical landscape that invites the body to soften and the heart to open. Songs of letting go, of belonging to the earth, of finding space for ourselves and one another will move through the room – not as performance, but as offering. Poetry and silence will be woven throughout, creating a container where restoration can happen naturally. Participants are warmly invited to add their voice to the songs if they feel moved to do so. There is no requirement to sing, no experience needed… only a willingness to receive. Come as you are. Let the earth sing you home.
